In this challenging times, we are called to trust. This was the theme for this year’s celebration of the birthday of Marie Madeleine d’Houët and Companions in Mission International Day held on September 26, 2021 at the FCJ Convent, Manila, Philippines.
Three young women, Charline, Lilibeth, and Ruthchel made their first commitment while Jen, Steph, and Niña renewed their commitment as Companions in Mission. FCJ Sisters were also present in the celebration. The ceremony was simple yet inspiring of how Jesus walk and journey to each of our life’s story.
We rejoice and give thanks in this celebration of faith and companionship. After the prayer we had delicious meal prepared by the FCJ Sisters and I prepared the fun games. We ended the day full of trust in God’s loving faithfulness in our lives. It was also full of fun and joy being together sharing our stories and playing fun games since we hadn’t seen each other face to face for nearly two years.
