On 21st September, we celebrate the birthday of Marie Madeleine, who founded the FCJ Society in France almost 200 years ago. Join us as we make a novena in her memory prepared by our sisters in the Philippines.
Day 8: The scroll
23 June 1817. Marie Madeleine experienced a scroll being unrolled before her eyes on which was written the following characteristics for herself and for the members and works of the Society she would found: ….to be a Jesuit – a companion of Jesus, .…to form establishments for the education of children, .…to undertake the work of retreats, ….missions.
