On 21st September, we celebrate the birthday of Marie Madeleine, who founded the FCJ Society in France almost 200 years ago. Join us as we make a novena in her memory prepared by our sisters in the Philippines.
Day 3: Ask of me what you will
Spring 1817. Marie Madeleine travelled to Amiens again to be near Eugene and, while there, made a pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Brebières in Albert. During this pilgrimage Fr. Varin took her to one side and urged her to pray to understand God’s will for her. He used the same words that she had heard during her retreat but with significant addition: give me the grace to accomplish your will faithfully as soon as it is made known to me.
