A message from Ms Whitney Nagasan, Executive Director of the FCJ Christian Centre in Calgary, from their latest newsletter
Dear FCJ Centre Friends and Supporters,
“Maranatha Come, Lord, Jesus.” These words resonate deeply during this season of Advent as we prepare our hearts for the joyous celebration of Christ’s birth. It’s a quiet prayer that extends into the moments of our days, inviting Jesus into our lives, acknowledging our need for Divine Love, and trusting that Christ will find His way into our hearts.
Think of the quiet cry from the manger—an echo of innocence that would one day change the world. Within that cry lies the promise of salvation, unending love, and a path toward redemption.
Throughout December, we warmly invite you to join us in a journey of reflection and community. Our Advent gatherings will include moments of prayer, meditation on scripture, and shared reflections on the profound significance of this season. Whether in person or virtually, come and be part of a community that seeks to deepen its understanding of the true meaning of Christmas.
May this season be a time of hope, peace, and joy for all of us. God, Emmanuel, is here with us. May we find comfort in that profound truth.
Thank you for being a cherished part of our FCJ Centre community! Your presence is a precious gift, and we hope that you have a wonderful holiday.
A grace-filled blessing to everyone,
Whitney Nagasan
