Today, 14th October, the Chapter had an experience of a Canadian Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a national holiday that is family-centred and largely non-commercialized. We give thanks to God for all that we have received: our country, the land, loved ones near and far … We express gratitude to each other recognizing the gift that they are in our lives.
Thanksgiving Day is a day when everyone who is grateful belongs; it is an opportunity for people of all faiths and no faith, of all backgrounds, of all political agendas to be united in saying: Thank You.
Thank you too to those who are reading this … who are supporting us with their prayer.
