Laurel Hill Coláiste FCJ has been rated as the first of the leading 400 second level schools in Ireland. The schools are rated by the average proportion of pupils gaining places in the autumn between 2015 and 2017 at one of the nine Universities on the island of Ireland, the main Teacher Training Colleges, the Royal College of Surgeons and the National College for Art and Design. The staff and students were greatly saddened earlier in the year by the tragic death of one of their best known and loved past students, Dolores O’ Riordan so it is great to get some really good news at this time. Good ratings were also achieved by Laurel Hill Secondary School and FCJ Secondary School, Bunclody. Congratulations to all involved.
