Quilting a Stained Glass Window of my Life

Starts:

Ends:

Calgary, Canada

Every Monday from October 21 to November 11 at the FCJ Retreat & Conference Centre.

In this hands-on quilting workshop we will make a small wall-hanging using a personal image. Each session provides time for reflection, sharing and some journal writing on the dark and light times of our life and on how the soul speaks through image and colour. The dark times, represented by black fabric will form the outline or grid pattern through which various light times will shine through. We will each choose a simple image for our soul, like a flower or some other image through which God speaks to us.

A simple nativity image can be chosen instead as a possible gift for a loved one.

No quilting experience required. And all fabric will be provided.

Materials will be provided.
