Where We Are
In this Third Millennium, we FCJs of the Americas long to live our lives authentically and generously in Canada and the USA.
Together we endeavour to spread the charism or gift that Marie Madeleine's Society offers to the Church
In the Area of the Americas we live in the USA and Canada. Our ministries are varied: prayer and outreach to people with special needs; pastoral work in parishes, hospices and seniors’ residences; counselling; spiritual direction; retreats; education. We recently closed our community in Salta, Argentina.
Our Companions in Mission are lay people who share our spirituality in their own places of influence. Both the Sisters and Companions in Mission are inspired by Marie Madeleine, her vision and example of following Jesus. All of us endeavour to spread the charism or gift that Marie Madeleine’s Society offers to the Church.
