The Magnificat is a traditional song which we, FCJ Sisters, usually sing at significant celebrations. It was written by Dolly Bramley.
The FCJ Society was founded by Marie Madeleine d’Houët in France in 1820. We are celebrating 200 hundred years of life! This video recounts the journey of the FCJ Society in the last 200 years. The pictures tell of the founding of the Society, the journeys of the sisters from Europe to Australia and America, and then to Asia, and shows a variety of our contemporary ministries around the world. In this year as we celebrate our bicentenary, we give thanks for those who have come before us, and for God’s faithfulness and inspiration through the years.
