Manila, May to August 2014

In mid-June seven FCJ sisters from England, Indonesia, the Philippines and Romania gathered in the Marist Asia Pacific (MAPAC) building in Marist School Marikina. Under the guidance of Sisters Barbara Brown-Graham and Marion Dooley fcJ, they began a three month period of intensive preparation for making final profession of vows.

On June 16th the opening prayer took the theme Finding the Treasure, Selling All and Buying the Field. That evening the group welcomed the FCJ Sisters from Scout Borromeo and Kamias, as well as Audrey, an FCJ postulant from Singapore.

One day a week is spent in apostolic experiences with the Missionaries of Charity, the FCJ Centre at Bagong Silangan and at a home for abandoned and street children.

There has been input in the areas of Cosmology (Fr. John Leydon MSSC), the Vows and Growing Responsibility for the Live of the Society (Sr. Caroline Luz RSCJ) and the Constitutions (Barbara fcJ).

On Sunday the sisters enjoyed a day out at Tagaytay.
