Farewell to Crook 1993-2013

There have been religious sisters in Crook for the last 150 years and FCJ sisters have been part of the scene for the last twenty.

Crook is a small market town in County Durham, an area of great natural beauty.

Across these last twenty years the FCJ sisters have been actively involved in all aspects of parish life.  They have visited the sick and housebound, supported parish activities, participated in the Alpha programme, welcomed parishioners into the convent for prayer, supported the life of the next-door school and witnessed fully to their beautiful name of  Faithful Companions of Jesus.
