Final Vow Ceremony — Maria Sunarni and Yustina Tukiyem
28th October 2012
The final vow celebration for Maria Sunarni and Yustina Tukiyem began with thanksgiving prayer on Saturday evening, 27th October 2012 in Soropadan community. Narni and Yustin chose the theme “Fidelity bears fruit”.
The actual ceremony of perpetual vows was in the Church of Christ the King, Baciro parish, in Yogyakarta on Sunday, 28th October 2012 at 11am. Sister Judith Routier, delegated by Sister Katherine Mary O’Flynn, received the vows. The parish priest, Fr. Gregorius Suprayitno, said the Mass. In his homily, Fr. Suprayitno said that: “Unless the branch is attached to the vine, it will not bear fruit. It is not only attached but is even united with the vine. This fidelity in being united with the vine, who is God himself, has enabled Narni and Yustin to be of help to others”.

Our heartfelt congratulations to Narni and to Yustin on having made their final commitment to Jesus and to the Society.
